June 22, 2025 - Imagination Activation

$0.00

Does thinking about the future freak you out?

Can you imagine yourself as an elder in your community one day?

Do you ever wonder what kind of ancestor you will be?

Join The Ecoeoglyphic Observatory and the Department of Future Memories for an imagination activation designed to pull strength and support from our pasts and project them into our future. Together we'll imagine possible solutions, discuss avenues for alliances, and create images of infrastructure to support the joy, liberation, and connections we desperately need right now. Participants will have the opportunity to put their ideas into a mini-zine, crafted and shared at the end along with snacks and well wishes.

Participants should bring:

-one item from the natural world (a rock, stick, plant, etc.)

-one item from the created world (an old piece of jewelry, art made by a loved one, a book)

-a water bottle

-notebook and pen (some will be provided)

Accessibility Info:
-accessible restroom
-access to water and snacks
-there will be sound from the streets
